I was in a parking lot in Torrington 1-2 weeks ago, and spotted this car. As someone who uses a bicycle for transportation more often than a car, and as someone who teaches others cycling techniques and the value of bicycle use, I am utterly offended.
Thus, I am offering a reward to anyone who helps me to identify the owner of this automobile. Espousing violence against others because of their mode of transportation is reprehensible.
If you have information that will identify the owner of this car, email me. I will give $75 to the cycling charity of your choice.

I threw the image and mention on my page…
I am not sure if the police can do anything unless you were in an altercation with them
but I bet anyone in the DOT or the news business could run the tags and get their information’
good luck
and watch your back
you have reminded me… I need to see my Cranial Osteopath
Same here – I also posted some alternative versions of the sticker, to make the point that this stuff’s just damned offensive!
They drive a Hyundai; no wonder they’re bitter.

You can do a search here for $29.
As a cyclist who was left in the street for dead practically by a very nasty hit and run driver, I would like to donate match your $75 by donating that guy’s body to charity… No need for the brains, obviously he has an ” abby normal ” something
The tags on that car are almost 3 years old. You sure you saw it just a few weeks ago?
Yeah, it’s a new photo. Connecticut discontinued its use of the plate stickers a few years ago. Registration expiration date is now on windshield stickers. But, of course, everybody still has the same old plates with the old registration stickers on them.
Just discovered this. Did anything come of it?
The police obviously can’t do anything about this, as it’s free speech and no laws are broken just by having the bumper stickers. However, it would be a fine irony if someone kicked off this guy’s rear view mirrors. Just sayin’…
Heh. I never found the car’s owner, but I appreciate your line of thought.
It looks like there is a website or company name at the bottom of the sticker, but I can’t read it.
Does anyone actually believe they hit a cyclist? I mean I agree that is borders on being inappropriate, but what about freedom of speech? It’s obviously a poor attempt at sarcasm, but letting it unnerve you is simply giving them what they want.
The driver of this car must be a serial bike hitter. This car must be apprehended by the authorities before he can hit another. We don’t know if he is that serious about hitting bikes. Thanks for posting.
